I have just returned from an incredibly busy week of buying at one of the world’s largest international jewelry shows. With literally thousand of vendors to select from, it was not easy, but extremely worth the effort. I am very excited about our selections. We have added several new designers to our offering. These artists create wonderful, wearable, quality jewelry.

It is also worth the trip to see the trends for the season as they emerge. Bracelets are a large part of the look this season. Whether you are stacking an armful of slender bangles or opt for one or two wider cuffs, you will be pleased with what we have selected! Yellow gold is HUGE! It is really a complete reversal of what we have seen the last five years. With the exception of bridal, 80% to 90% of what we saw was yellow gold, or a mix or yellow and white, yellow and rose, or yellow and one of the more unusual colors like, brown, red, or even black!

The use of unusual materials was also a strong trend. We saw, and purchased, many items with wood, agate, leather, crocodile and stingray.
